Gregory Alan Gibson, 48, Onondaga Nation, died Saturday, July 19th, in Kanawake during the old stick lacrosse tournament. He was a life resident of the Onondaga Nation and member of the wolf clan. Graduate of LaFayette High School where he played lacrosse and was on the wrestling team. He was an electrician at Ridley Electric in Syracuse and member of Local #43. He played lacrosse for the Onondaga Warriors and also coached lacrosse for the OMA. He golfed in several tournaments.
Survivors: wife Regina Gabrielle Gibson, his children, Joshua, Danielle, Heather, Justin and Jessica; his brothers Erwin, Alson, Sheldon, and Omar Gibson; his sisters, Estelle and Stacy Gibson; six grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, at the Onondaga Longhouse at 11 am.
