The Redhawks suffered their first loss of the season while visiting the Six Nations Sting 7-3. The Sting were opportunistic in the first period as they seized a 6-1 lead in the opening 20 minutes. Then Redhawk goaltender Jeff Powless was able to hold the sting cores to only a single tally for the remaining 40 minutes of the game. Unfortunately, the Redhawks were unable to mount and attack of their own as they were able to tally a single goal in both the second and third periods.
