The Redhawks earned their second victory of the season with a win over the visiting Six Nations Braves 13-7. The first period was highlighed by the many fast-break opportunies that the Redhawks had and the solid goal tending of the Six Nation goalie. Dispite the numerous 1 on 1 chances, the Redhawks were only able to record 3 tallies to Six Nations 1 to end the first period of play.
The second period of play continued with the continued up and down fast break pace. This period the Redhawks were able to pull ahead 8- 2 before two late Brave goals brought them within 4 goals. The third period saw the continuation of the solid play of Onondaga goal tender Jim Campbell. The The paced slowed as Six Nations was unable to mount a comeback. The Redhawks were paced by three goal performances by Ed Shenandoah and Murray Stout and AJ Bucktooth also added two tallies of his own. Up next for the Redhawks is a trip to Gill Lay Arena Saturday against Pinewoods Smoke.
