The Six Nations Masters team traveled from Grand River to play in the Onondaga Old Sticks Tournament. They left Onondaga with the Championship and an undefeated record. Six Nations met another undefeated team in the final, our own Onondaga Old-Stix.
The game started with Six Nations taking and early lead. The Masters from Six Nations were able find shooters and put constant pressure on Onondaga net-minder Kent Lyons. By the end of the first period, Six Nations was able to post a 4-0 lead.
The second period saw Onondaga’s Blum Lazore score the first goal. Unfortunately, Six Nations answered with a goal of their own, to retain the four goal lead at the end of the second period.
The third period saw the Onondaga try to mount a rally with goals by Rex Lyons and Blum Lazore. But Six Nations was up to the task by adding a goal of their own while their goal-tender stopped all chances. Click here to see all of the tournament results.
